Since 2024, Dr. Luca Mari Major has been working as a resident at the Department of Neurosurgery at Inselspital, Bern University Hospital under the direction of Prof. Andreas Raabe. As part of her neurosurgical training, she will also complete a rotation in neurointensive care in 2026. Prior to that, she continued her training from 2022 to 2024 at the Balgrist University Hospital in Zurich, specializing in spinal surgery. She completed her medical studies at Semmelweis University in Budapest, where she earned her Ph.D. in 2019. In 2026, she passed the first part of the European Board Examination in Neurological Surgery (EANS).
